1. Who we are

AI TryOn (“Extension”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a Chrome extension developed by Sublimity Softwares. It helps you preview how clothing might look while you browse supported online stores.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account and authentication

If the Extension uses sign‑in, we may collect:

  • Email address – used to create and manage your account and for account‑related updates.
  • Password – if applicable, stored only as a salted, one‑way hash. We never store plain‑text passwords.
  • Google sign‑in data – when you choose “Sign in with Google”, we receive your email, profile name, profile picture and Google account ID via Google OAuth.

2.2 Images and visual data

To generate virtual try‑on previews, the Extension works with:

  • Clothing images – product photos from supported sites, captured when you interact with the Extension.
  • Person images – photos you upload or capture to see outfits on yourself.

These images are used only to generate previews. In the current version, processing happens in your browser and we do not maintain a permanent gallery of your personal photos on our servers.

2.3 Page data and permissions

The Extension requires limited access to pages you visit on supported e‑commerce sites in order to function. It:

  • Reads content only on domains listed in the Chrome Web Store manifest.
  • Identifies product images and basic product details needed to build the try‑on overlay.

We do not collect or store your entire browsing history.

2.4 Usage and diagnostics

To keep the Extension reliable, we may collect anonymised or aggregated metrics, for example:

  • Extension version, browser type and general device information.
  • Counts of actions such as how often try‑on is triggered or errors occur.
  • Non‑identifying error logs when the Extension fails unexpectedly.

We do not use this data to build advertising profiles or sell it to third parties.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide and improve the virtual try‑on features.
  • Secure accounts and prevent misuse.
  • Monitor stability, troubleshoot problems and plan improvements.
  • Communicate important changes where appropriate.

4. Data retention

  • Account data is kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards where needed for security, legal or support reasons.
  • Images used during a try‑on session are processed for that session. We do not use your personal images to train models or for unrelated purposes.
  • Logs and analytics are retained only as long as required for diagnostics and service quality.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

  • Service providers that help us operate infrastructure or analytics, under appropriate data‑protection terms.
  • Authorities where required to comply with law or protect our rights and the safety of users.
  • Business transfers if we are involved in a merger or acquisition, subject to equivalent protections.

6. Your choices

  • You can uninstall the Extension at any time to stop its data collection.
  • You can clear uploaded photos and browser cache from your device.
  • If we provide an account area, you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Children

AI TryOn is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the Extension and provided personal data, please contact us so that we can remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, highlight significant changes in the Extension or on our website.
